Corporate Attorney, Brendan Snowden, Promoted to Principal

Cummings & Lockwood LLC is pleased to announce that Brendan Snowden, an attorney in the Firm’s Corporate & Finance Group, has been promoted to Principal.

Brendan is resident in the Stamford, Connecticut, office where he will continue his corporate finance practice. He is a transactional lawyer and represents public and private companies, funds, governmental entities, family offices and high net worth individuals in a variety of commercial, corporate and finance matters.
He has significant experience representing public and private companies in their debt and equity financings, including private equity, venture capital, growth capital, mezzanine capital, project finance, securitizations, public and private placements and bank financings, and family offices and high net worth individuals in their investments, both as minority investors and acquirers of businesses, including through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, private equity, start-up and angel investments and sponsor-like financings. He also advises companies and investors as outside general counsel, including on their commercial, securities, capital raising and corporate governance needs.
Brendan has represented clients in a variety of activities and industries ranging from oil & gas development and refining, manufacturing, restaurant/food service, pharmaceutical and defense companies to financial service and entertainment companies, and has experience in many cross-border transactions, particularly in Latin America. He is proficient in Spanish.
He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Middlebury College. He is admitted to the Connecticut and New York Bars.
Brendan lives in New Canaan, Connecticut.
