Jake H. Golicz

Background

James “Jake” Golicz is an Associate in Cummings & Lockwood’s Litigation Group and is based in the Stamford office. He primarily practices in the areas of commercial litigation, employment litigation, construction litigation, trust probate litigation, and real estate litigation. Jake also has experience with toxic torts, land use, and creditors’ rights matters.

Jake represents businesses and employers on all facets of commercial and employment litigation, as well as advises and litigates claims of unfair competition, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants in both state and federal courts and before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Additionally, Jake drafts and enforces restrictive covenants, secures temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions, and advises businesses on internal governance and members/partnership disputes, as well as a range of employment law matters.

Prior to joining Cummings & Lockwood, Jake was an associate attorney at two national AmLaw 100 firms advising local, national, and international businesses on commercial and employment matters. Jake has extensive experience litigating matters throughout the country in various state and federal jurisdictions and administrative agencies. Before entering private practice, Jake served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Vanessa L. Bryant at the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
