YWCA Greenwich's 2019 Women Who Inspire Awards
January 24, 2019
Cummings & Lockwood was a proud sponsor of the YWCA Greenwich’s 2019 Women Who Inspire Awards event, which was held at the Greenwich Country Club on January 25, 2019, to commemorate and celebrate the organization’s 100 year anniversary serving the Greenwich Community through its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
The newly established, annual Women Who Inspire Awards acknowledges the changes in our society that have led to fluidity of work/life balance for women. Each of the four 2019 nominees (Stephanie Cowie, Stephanie K. Schnobel, Janice Trebbi Richards and Katherine B. Vadasdi) has a proven record of growth, success and influence in her profession and/or community. The recipients of this award also demonstrated an unwavering passion and commitment for a specific cause or idea and served as role models who are making a difference in the lives of others. The honorees also included one Corporate recipient (Stamford Health) and two Next Generation honorees (Isabel Allard and Sydney Noble).
The Cummings & Lockwood’s trusts and estates attorneys who attended the awards ceremony included Laura Weintraub Beck, who was a Co-Chair of the event, as well as the recently appointed Chair of Cummings & Lockwood’s Private Clients Group. Attendees from Cummings & Lockwood’s Greenwich and Stamford offices included (from left to right) Sarah A. Ricciardi, Stefania L. Bartlett, Kathleen M. Merrigan, Laura Weintraub Beck, Jessie A. Gilbert, Katherine Cotter Gent, and Susan Huffard, as well as Stephanie C. Helfrich, Cara Howe Santoro, Rachel Sherman and Rachel Zarghami (not pictured).
